Meet the Baker
Katie
Hello! I am Katie, the baker. I love to bake. Love, love, love it. When I am happy, I bake. When I am sad, I bake. When there’s something to celebrate, I bake. (You get where I’m going with this). I went to school to be a teacher, and although I always will be a teacher at heart, I am now pursuing the dream I’ve had since I was a little girl: being a baker. Through my schooling in the culinary program at Johnson and Wales University, I’ve collected and honed many skills in order to bake the best looking, best tasting, and most healthful products for you.
I love to bake, but I also love to share my knowledge with others. It brings me great joy to bake with other people, guiding them through what can be some pretty tricky baking techniques. Contact me to schedule a tutorial on gluten-free muffins, or how to make a crispy pie crust, or to figure out why your cookies keep spreading out too thin. I also would love to bake with your kiddos! There is something kind of magical about watching ingredients turn into cookies, especially when you get to eat them afterwards!
